Join the sea of red and white at Alberta’s largest Canada Celebration! Enjoy free family fun all day long during Canada Day at the Alberta Legislature. The Legislature Building will be open for you to tour at your leisure, including the rare opportunity to walk on the Chamber floor, an honour usually reserved for Members of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta. Stick around through the afternoon to enjoy live music, entertainment, games for the kids, food stands, and much more!
FAMILY FUN TIP Don’t miss the the film Our People Our Province in the Pehonan Theatre at the Legislative Assembly Visitor Centre. This short film about Alberta’s History is a hidden gem with it’s 360 degree moving screen and unique 4D effects like wind and snow that viewers can actually feel. Our whole family loved the experience!
