Join family, friends and neighbours for the Canada Day Celebration in St Albert! Featuring an array of family activities, live entertainment, an outdoor movie and fireworks, it is the perfect way to celebrate community and share your Canadian spirit!

Noon to 4 pm | Family Activities

Head down to the area around St Albert Place (5 St. Anne St.) and Lions Park (21 Sir Winston Churchill Ave.) to find concerts, face painting, games, food trucks, and much more. Park and ride will be available from 11:45 am to 4:00 pm from the Nakî Transit Centre. You are encouraged to bring a donation for the St Albert Food Bank.

  • 2:00 pm – African & African Descendants in St. Albert Association

6:00 pm & 8:30 pm | Outdoor Movie: Encanto

Grab your lawn chair or blanket and be in in front of St. Albert Place (5 St. Anne St.) at 6:00 pm or 8:30 pm to watch a showing of the hit movie Encanto!

11:00 pm | Fireworks

Fireworks will be set off from the Meadowview Ball Diamonds (1 Meadowview Dr.) which will be closed to the public. The fireworks can be best viewed from one of these nearby locations:

  • Red Willow Trails (near the Children’s bridge) | Parking lot available at St. Albert Place located at 5 St. Anne Street.
  • Lions Park | 21 Sir Winston Churchill Ave. Parking lot is located adjacent to Lions Park.
  • Millenium Park | St. Anne Promenade and Tache Street.
  • Morgan Park | between Mission Avenue and Morgan Crescent.
  • Larry Olexiuk Field parking lot | 47 Riel Drive
