Canada Day activities are back with exciting and safe ways for the community to celebrate together and share their Canadian spirit!

12 – 4 P.M. – POP-UP PERFORMERS AND ACTIVITIES IN CITY PARKS

  • The City of St. Albert’s Roaming Rec Crew will be out and about saying hello to people and handing out Canada Day swag.
  • Family-friendly entertainment will liven up the trails and park spaces around downtown St. Albert.
  • Fizzlewit’s Fairy Finding Tour: Search for hidden magical creatures and whimsical wee-folk in downtown St. Albert!
  • Trail tales hosted by the St. Albert Public Library featuring Canadian authors will be placed along the Sturgeon River, beside St Albert Place.
  • Show your Canadian pride by decorating yourself, your dog, bike, scooter or kayak in red and white and share a picture to social media with #stalbert.
  • The International Children’s Festival’s #40DaysofPLAY activities remain online for families to enjoy all summer long! Let your creativity and artistic talents fly!

6 & 9 P.M. – DRIVE-IN MOVIE PRESENTED BY TELUS: SHREK!
Come with the family and cozy up in your vehicle to enjoy a no cost drive-in movie showing of Shrek!

Details:
Located at Larry Olexiuk Field Parking lot, 47 Riel Drive.
There are two movie showings at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Gates will open one hour prior to showtimes.
Parking direction will be given upon arrival. Please follow posted signage and instructions from parking lot attendants.
