Cariwest Fest is one of Edmonton’s most colourful and vibrant summer festivals! From August 5 to 7, 2022, it’s three days of fun as Caribbean Canadians share their music, cuisine and carnival culture. Introduce your kids to amazing dance, music and fun during the parade and free family-friendly activities happening in the Caribbean Village.

Caribbean Village:

The Village activities run all weekend in Churchill Square and include:

  • A Caribbean Marketplace featuring 15+ craft and retail vendors selling Caribbean / African inspired gifts
  • Food Alley serving up classic offerings from across the Caribbean at 20 different vendors
  • Free outdoor live music and entertainment on the main stage

Cariwest Fest Parade:

This year, the largest and most vibrant summer parade in Edmonton will be return to downtown Edmonton on Saturday, August 6, 2022l. Grab your spot along the parade route on Saturday morning and be ready for the celebration in the streets to start at noon.

The almost 2 km route with start at 108 Street and 99 Avenue, proceed down Jasper Avenue and make its way to Churchill Square.
