With approximately 200,000 lights on 2,900 strings adorning more than 500 trees, the Alberta Legislature Grounds is a sight to behold this holiday season! The centerpiece tree hails from the Edson area and arrived onsite with the help of Department of Agriculture and Forestry, local arborists, a crane and a specially equipped transport truck. It stands is over 40 feet tall, weighs approximately 5000 pounds, is about 45 years old and is now decorated with 6,000 bright lights! Walk through the grounds with your family and enjoy this magical light display.
