Dance into summer with Celtic Ceilidh Dance Academy! Discover introductory dance and acro camps during July & August at this warm, welcoming multi-discipline dance studio in South Edmonton.

A ceilidh is a Scottish or Irish gathering, often marked by the joyful expression of singing, dancing, and storytelling. Celtic Ceilidh Dance embraces this heritage, with a wide variety of dance programs for all ages and levels. Whether your young dancer is just getting started or already knows what they love, there is something for everyone here. Dance adds a spark of joy to every day; it’s the perfect activity to promote health, wellness, and happiness!

Celtic Ceilidh Dance Academy has been teaching dance in Edmonton since 1995. Their qualified instructors share their passion for dance and tradition, while inspiring students to discover their own potential. This summer, their camp session offerings include:

Wee Celts | Ages 3-6

Camp Dates: July 22-26, 2024
Time: 10:00 am – 10:45 am

Wee Celts offers the perfect introduction to Highland, Irish, and Ballet dancing for preschool and kindergarten-aged children. Each 45 minute dance session will be filled with age-appropriate learning and plenty of fun on the dance floor! Summer camp sessions offer the perfect opportunity to try out the different types of dance and find what they like before committing to a full dance season.

Intro to Acro | Ages 7-10

Dates: Wednesday evenings from July 3 to August 7, 2024
Time: 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm

This 6 week intro session is designed for children who are new to the practice of acrobatics and may not have much previous experience with gymnastics or related disciplines. Participants will be introduced to fundamental acrobatic skills while building strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
