Celtic Ceilidh Dance embraces this heritage, with a wide variety of dance programs for all ages and levels. Whether your young dancer is just getting started or already knows what they love, there is something for everyone here. Celtic Ceilidh Dance Academy has been teaching dance in Edmonton since 1995. Their qualified instructors share their passion for dance and tradition, while inspiring students to discover their own potential. This summer, their camp session offerings include:

Wee Celts | Ages 3-5

Camp Dates: August 10-14, 2026
Time: 10:00 am – 10:45 am

Wee Celts offers the perfect introduction to Highland, Irish, and Ballet dancing for preschool and kindergarten-aged children. Each 45-minute dance session will be filled with age-appropriate learning and plenty of fun on the dance floor! Summer camp sessions offer the perfect opportunity to try out the different types of dance and find what they like before committing to a full dance season.

Intro to Highland | Ages 6+

Dates: August 10-14, 2026
Time: 10:00 am – 11:00 am

This week-long camp introduces dancers to the traditional steps and music of Scotland’s Highland dance. Designed for children aged 6 and up, it offers a fun and engaging foundation in Highland dance.

Intro to Irish | Ages 6+

Dates: August 10-14, 2026
Time: 11:00 am – 12:00 pm

This introductory class immerses dancers in the traditional steps and music of Irish dance. Tailored for children aged 6 and up, it offers a fun and engaging introduction to Irish dance.
