Deep Freeze: A Byzantine Winter Fête returns this January 20 & 21, transforming the Alberta Avenue District into an enchanted wonderland “Under the Toad Stools” with mystical creatures, vivid blooms, and woodland creatures sculpted by world-renowned ice, balloon, and lantern artists. Celebrate the coming together of Ukrainian, Métis, French Canadian, Inuit, and Indigenous cultures with light installations, ice sculptures, cultural stories, artistic workshops, street hockey, and the famous Deep Freezer races!
