Join the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra & Classic Kids Live! on Saturday, February 17, 2024 to discover the music of legendary composer George Gershwin during this captivating theatrical symphony event.
Gershwin’s Magic Key, sponsored by ATB Wealth, is a world-famous production highlighting the life and musical masterpieces of one of the greatest American composers of all time. Professional actors will join the ESO live on the Winspear Centre stage to magically weave true anecdotes and observations from George Gershwin’s life with his most enduring musical masterpieces. Music lovers of all ages can look forward to a visual feast of costumes, props, and special lighting effects paired with timeless melodies like I Got Rhythm, Rhapsody in Blue, Summertime, and more.
This entertaining and educational concert offers the perfect introduction to classical music for ages six and up. The afternoon events will even include the option to purchase drinks and fresh popcorn as an extra special treat for Family Day Weekend!
Tickets are on sale now for your choice of two performance times on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Each performance will run approximately 50 minutes in length.
