Global Aware Care, which offers Preschool for children aged 3 to 6, as well as daycare, out-of-school care and summer camp programs, operates under these strongly held beliefs:

  • The Preschool years are a key time to help children develop a love of learning.
  • Learning is constructed based on personal curiosity and a welcoming, stimulating environment.
  • Experienced educators can skillfully blend curriculum-based learning with a child-lead approach in order to create the optimal environment for children at this age.

Global Aware Care Preschool is a bright, spacious, new south Edmonton facility, located on the 2nd floor of Central Baptist Church (4357 Savaryn Drive). The teaching team has a combined 25 years experience working with preschool aged children, and each member is passionate about and committed to creating the best learning environment for your child. The program is open to children aged 3 to 6, and class options include 2, 3 or 5 mornings per week.

The daily routine includes a group meeting, where children are invited to choose a classroom helper role for that day. Students have ample time to explore the wide variety of ever changing learning centres, including sensory tables, creative arts tables, pre-math and early literacy stations, dramatic play, and more. A healthy snack is provided, and the day is rounded out with story time, gross motor activities and circle time. Class sizes are kept small to ensure plenty of  personalized attention. Registration is now open for the 2018/2019 school year.
