Join the Alberta Conservation Association for the Kids Can Catch program at Wabamun Lake or Pigeon Lake on Saturday, February 15, 2025! Fishing mentors will be pond-side to teach the basics, from setting up a rod to casting, reeling and safe fish handling. It will be an exciting afternoon filled with fishing, complimentary snacks and lunch, and fun giveaways for the young anglers! (Advance registration required.)
- February 15-17, 2025 is also Alberta Free Family Fishing Weekend, which means you can head out on your own to any Alberta Lake for a fun fishing session without a license.
