Movies on the Square are back on select evenings in June, August, and September! The City of Edmonton invites you to bring your lawn chair and blankets down to Churchill Square and cozy up for 3 great movie selections on the 3-storey high inflatable screen:
- Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 7:00 pm | The Super Mario Bros. Movie
- Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 7:00 pm | Detective Pikachu
- Friday, September 8, 2023 at 6:00 pm | Matilda
Expect more then just movie watching at these fun themed events! Get there early to take part in some fun and interactive elements inspired from each film. Get in the spirit by dressing up as your favourite character to compete for a prize in the costume contest, plus be sure to check out the food trucks and other community organizations on site from 5-9 pm. The movie will start at dusk and is completely free to come out and enjoy!
