Rutherford House Remembers

Visit the Rutherford House Provincial Historic Site on Sunday, November 5, 2023 to discover the bravery and sacrifice of the soldiers in the Great War through letters, poetry, and songs. While there, you will also get to experience some of the foods the soldiers would have made for themselves while on the Front.

Light the City

In honour of Indigenous Veterans Day and Remembrance Day, The High Level Bridge, City Hall, Muttart Conservatory, Commonwealth Stadium, Edmonton Tower, Walterdale Bridge, and Rossdale Power Plant will be lit with special color themes.

Edmonton City Hall Plaza Ceremony

A short ceremony planned by the Loyal Edmonton Regiment will take place outside at the Cenotaph at City Hall Plaza. The City of Edmonton is also encouraging families to honour the contributions of past and present military personnel, who have served in times of war and peace, in other meaningful ways.
