Alberta Safety Council Summer Camps help kids acquire the skills and knowledge they need to grow into new roles. Whether you want to ensure they’re ready to cycle safely, stay home alone, or start babysitting, Alberta Safety Council has a camp or course to get them there. Camps are reasonably priced, offer a variety of dates, and make learning fun!
Alberta Safety Council Summer Camps 2025
Save our World Adventure Camp
A 5 day camp for children aged 6 to 9 that will introduce topics of pedestrian, home, fire, and playground safety, as well as explore ideas around recycling, conservation, and endangered species.
Cost: $150.00 + GST
Dates: July 7-11, 2025 and August 11-15, 2025
Pedal Pushers Bicycle Program
A 2 day (5 hour) camp for children aged 5 to 8 that will teach the basic fundamentals of cycling and traffic skills for safe riding. This course is for kids who can ride without training wheels.
Cost: $75.00 +GST
Dates: July 14 & 15, July 21 & 21 and August 5 & 6 2025
Pedal Pushers Bicycle Camp
A (15 hour) camp for children aged 9 to 12 who would like to improve their riding technique. This fun program includes on-road excursions led by instructors.
Cost: $105 +GST
Dates: July 14 – 18, 2025 (5 – ½ days) July 28 & 29 (2 full days) and August 18– 22 (5 – ½ days) 2025
Home Alone Program
This 1 day (3 hours) course will help kids aged 10 and up understand how to prevent problems, handle real-life situations, and be safe and responsible when home alone for short periods of time.
Cost: $52.00 + GST
Dates: June 30, August 25, November 14, 2025
Babysitting Course
This 1-day course helps young adults (aged 12+) learn to babysit with confidence. Included in the program are themes of prevention, assertiveness, and resourcefulness, as well as basic safety and first aid.
Cost: $60 +GST
Dates: March 27, June 26, August 1, November 13, 2025
Scooter Sessions
This 1 hour, program teaches children traffic safety in an interactive way by having kids ride motorized scooters in Safety City.
Cost: $8 +GST
