Shakespeare wrote that ‘all the world is a stage”. If that’s indeed true, then there’s no better place for your child to spend summer vacation than in a well-rounded theatrical experience full of fun activities, positive energy and practical challenges! Give them the world on a stage at St. Albert Children’s Theatre Summer Drama Camp. There are options for kids aged 3 to 19, whether they are new to the performing arts or want to refine their techniques in specific aspects of stage production.

Camps are brimming with age-appropriate opportunities to build skills both on-stage as well as behind the scenes. Kids will enjoy singing, acting, movement and production in an environment that will encourage creative growth while building confidence and showcasing unique talents. Drama camp is also a wonderful opportunity for kids to acquire and nurture life skills like teamwork, leadership, commitment and respect.

Camps for younger participants focus on a basic introduction to theatre, including musical elements, creative play and imagination games. Older participants will be involved in the complete theatrical experience, from developing scenes to the final presentation. Campers age 8 and up will work toward a final presentation for families to attend! Those who love theatre but prefer to stay behind the scenes can even choose the Theatre Production camp for 12 to 19 year olds!
