For years, Canvastone Studio has been offering painting and soapstone carving classes, camps and workshops. For Summer 2019, Painting and Soapstone Carving Camps will run every week of the school break. Camps run each week, Monday through Friday. Painting camps will be from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and Soapstone Carving Camps will be from 1 pm to 4 pm. At the end of the week, artists bring home a completed soapstone carving or framed canvas painting to display with pride!
Camps are for students aged 7 to 16, and cost $260 plus GST for camp, plus supply costs: ($35 for soapstone materials or $90 for canvas and framing materials.) Camps do run on holiday mondays, but fee adjustments can be made for children unable to attend on a holiday.
