Founded in 1903, Alliance Française Halifax is a Canadian not-for-profit association dedicated to the promotion of the French language and of French-speaking cultures. Our association is part of the Alliance Française Foundation, the world’s largest network of French language schools and cultural centers.

The Halifax location is one of ten Alliances Françaises present in Canada. Nationwide, the Alliance Française network provides training to over 12,000 students annually, and our Halifax centre is considered the best French as a second language (FSL) school in the province.

This summer, your children are welcome to play, learn, think, and share – in French! From Monday, August 25 to Friday, August 29, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, children aged 7 to 12 are invited to the Alliance Française End-of-Summer Day Camp — a week of creativity, curiosity, and anchored through the theme “Nature, French, Fun.”

This immersive camp offers a variety of engaging, hands-on activities designed to spark interest in nature, the environment, and sustainability — all while encouraging children to express themselves in French. Whether your child is a beginner, intermediate, advanced, or a native speaker, they’ll enjoy a welcoming space to learn, explore, and grow.

Scholarships are available. Please contact sophie.pilipczuk@afhalifax.ca for more information.

Spaces are limited — register today and give your child a meaningful and memorable end to summer!
