Some kids are born to sing, dance, and act. If you can imagine your child Broadway-bound, you need to check out Neptune Theatre summer camps! With a huge variety of summer camps, kids who want to learn about music, movement, singing, and acting can immerse themselves in drama and musical theatre. It’s time for your talented child to dive deep into the acting world!

The Neptune Theatre School focuses on programs that build skills, rather than simply ‘putting on a show’. Kids learn from qualified instructors, who promote a unique system of creative learning that facilitates exploring, discovering, building skills, and creating confidence.

Summer Camps for Ages 4-12

Do you have a child who lives for the stage? Neptune Theatre holds summer camps for kids with a variety of themes. These camps offer acting and theatre skills, serving as a great stepping stone for the Youth Performance Company. Camps for children ages 4-12 will run from 9 am to 4 pm at the Halifax Grammar School.

Neptune Theatre is bursting with cool summer camps this year! Although many are already sold out, due to high demand, we’ve added more spaces to our most popular summer camps:

Week 2 | July 13-17 – Drama – Improv Inspiration, Ages 10-12

In this exciting week of improv games, skits, and character-building exercises, kids will master the art of thinking on their feet and following their instincts. No script? No problem! Ready, set, improvise!

Week 3 | July 20-24 – Musical – Magical Movie Musicals, Ages 7-9

Step into the silver screen and explore the world of movie musicals. Kids will feel the magic of the movies as they sing and dance to their favourite timeless tunes.

Week 4 | July 27-31 – Musical – Idol Training: Demon Hunters Edition, Ages 7-9

It’s time for a takedown! Kids will create a popstar alter ego and battle demons with new friends. They’ll then jump onstage and use cool dance moves and powerful songs to save the world!

Week 7 | Aug 17-21 – Drama – Dungeons, Dragons, & Drama, Ages 10-12

Kids will join in on an epic journey into the fantastical world of Dungeons & Dragons! They will test their luck in a thrilling week of dice-rolling adventures, while creating their own legendary characters and bringing their adventures to life in a final performance that will leave the audience spellbound!
