To kick off the Cole Harbour Heritage Farm opening and pop-up market, they will be hosting a party with several vendors, including Shani’s Farm, Sober Island Brewing, and Skeldale farms. Come enjoy the new piglets, ewes, local produce, and fun activities at the farm! Their farm restaurant, The Rose and Kettle will be serving traditional harvest fare and home baked goodies. Admission is by donation to support the Farm.
The Museum is a community museum dedicated to preserving and interpreting Cole Harbour’s agricultural past, and to developing an understanding of plants, animals and farming today. It is owned and operated by the Cole Harbour Rural Heritage Society, a registered charity which relies heavily on community support, volunteers and donations.
The Farm Museum is open seven days a week from May 15 to October 15. Throughout the winter months they are open by appointment for research, resources and enquiries.
