There’s nothing better than local, fresh produce and in Nova Scotia, there’s no better time to enjoy the abundance of tasty treats than the fall harvest. Noggins Corner Farm is open year round but the sweetest time of the year is when the apple orchards come alive from mid-September to the end of October.
Noggins Corner Farm lies in the heart of Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley and in addition to their 52 varieties of apples, they also offer a variety of homegrown fruits and vegetables including pears, peaches, plums, cherries, apricots, nectarines, raspberries, sweet corn, squash, pumpkins, cucumbers, peas, and peppers.
This locally owned and operated farm is a family favourite that also offers a bustling year-round farm market, and family fun corn maze in the fall. Head down to the Valley for a day of family fun on the farm and visit one of their local markets in HRM for seasonal fresh produce any time of the year!
U-Pick Apples
The Annapolis Valley is world-renowned for its amazing apple orchards and you can pick your own, fresh off the apple trees at Noggins U-Pick! Plan to go in late September to early October when their 16 different U-Pick varieties will be ripe and ready to pick.
During the week their orchard is accessible by foot only with beautiful walking trails which take you down to the orchard. On weekends they offer tractor drawn wagon rides to and from the apple orchard. There is no extra cost for riding the wagon.
