For 25 years, Halifax Learning has played a crucial role in the rise of Canadian reading experts who drastically improve the lives of young people, and they are committed to fostering academic excellence, confidence, and lifelong success. Halifax Learning Delivers SpellRead™, Canada’s leading structured literacy program, which was developed by Dr. Kay McPhee of PEI and brought to Halifax in 1997 by Halifax Learning founder Sarah Arnold.

This August, boost your child’s reading skills with Halifax Learning Summer Camps. Geared for children 6-12, Halifax Learning’s supportive staff, small groups, and confidence-building environment will allow your child to improve their reading and writing. Their camps run Monday to Friday over three weeks in August and offer 8 hours of SpellRead™ instruction to boost kids’ reading skills before fall. Plus, there are fun and engaging afternoon activities, including crafts, experiments, and field trips! Families can register for one week or multiple weeks of camp!
