Summer is the time for interesting adventures, new skills, and learning cool things while you’re having fun! Osprey Summer Camps at Armbrae Academy are created for children from pre-primary to grade 8 (ages 4 and up). With exciting summer camp themes, your child will enjoy a summer of laughter and memories. This year, Osprey Summer Camps will be open to both Armbrae Families and those who don’t attend Armbrae Academy!
Armbrae Academy has a rich history in Halifax and offers the broadest education possible to its diverse background of students. While pursuing academic excellence, they also intentionally focus on character education, community service, athletics, and other pursuits that help children develop into their best selves. Armbrae Academy encourages children to consider their role in the world and gives them a place to belong.
Summer Camps
Osprey summer camps at Armbrae Academy were born from this spirit of excellence. Campers are divided into small groups for increased one-on-one time with camp leaders. These experienced, enthusiastic camp leaders are trained in Caring Schools, First Aid, and CPR and have obtained other various record checks. You can feel confident that your children are in good hands.
Signature Camps: On campus with some off-site walking adventures. Themes include LEGO, Exploring Art, Dino Diggin, and more
Discovery Camps: Based on campus with one off-site trip that requires a cost. Themes include Eco Heroes, Engineering, and Skilled Trades
Specialty Camps: Provided in partnership with educational organizations, including Mad Science and Robothink.
Osprey Academy: Half days with a focus on developing skills. Topics include First Aid, Young Leaders, Creative Crochet, and more!
Other Details
Camps run from 9 am – 4:30 pm, and early drop-off is available for a fee of $50, beginning at 8 am. Campers engage in themed projects as well as rotating through activities in the games room, gym and our outdoor playground and wooded area. Armbrae students receive a $25 discount on all camps applied automatically. Fees include a camp hat as well as lunch and a snack each day (Osprey Academy excluded), so there is no need to spend time packing lunches this summer!
