As fall arrives in Halifax, with cooler weather and changing leaves, people start looking for pumpkin patches and corn mazes. Here’s a look at the top spots in the area to enjoy these classic autumn activities and make some great memories. all with the inviting backdrop of the fall season.

Dakeyne Farm Sunflower Maze

Although not a corn maze, this sunflower maze will provide a beautiful, photogenic backdrop. They will be open every day it isn’t pouring rain or stormy, until the last petal falls sometime in late September. Bring a picnic, fly one of their kites, or participate in other activities like disc golf, soccer croquet, or take a nature walk down to the river and back.

Dill Family Farm

This local farm continues the legacy of Howard Dill, creator of Dill’s Atlantic Giant seed, the World’s Largest Pumpkin Variety!

Noggins Farm Corn Maze and Pumpkin U-Pick

Noggins’ Corn Maze (September 12 – late October) includes access to the corn mazes, rope mazes, duck races, washer toss games, puzzle games, and the barnyard adventure play area. Noggins also has apple and pumpkin u-picks.

Riverbreeze Farm, Corn Maze, and Pumpkin U-Pick

Get lost in their corn maze and pick a pumpkin as a family tradition each year. This year’s dates are September 27 – November 1st, 2025. Also included in admission is access to 20+ attractions on the farm!

The Patch Pumpkin Farm

This family farm is open for the season and located just outside of Halifax in Milford.

Willowbank U Pick Farm

Willowbank U-Pick Farm is a working farm owned by the Johnson family. During the fall season, they open up to the public, offering a u-pick apple orchard, pumpkin patch, petting zoo, corn maze, hayrides, and a market selling fresh crops, pickles, and hay bales.

Windsor Corn Maze
