Calling all kids that love history, learning and fun! The Diefenbaker Canada Centre is looking forward to another summer full of fun and adventure! Diefenbaker Canada Centre Summer Camps will help you discover Saskatchewan while participating in fun activities and hands-on learning! Summer camps at the DCC will help children ages 7 to 10 to do some time travel and discover more about our amazing province.
If you are looking for a camp that will bring a constant smile to your child’s face, make sure to check out the Diefenbaker Canada Centre for a week of fun, laughter and learning. They will meet new friends, travel to the past with the help of the amazing camp leaders, have some hands-on adventures and best of all, they will come home with amazing stories about their day!
Discovering Saskatchewan: Past, Present and Future
Time travelers, aged 7 to 10, assemble! Join Diefenbaker Canada Centre on an adventure throughout Saskatchewan’s incredible history. Bring the ancient past to life at the Museum of Natural History, experience the Victorian Era at the Little Stone Schoolhouse, and explore the technology of today at the DCC’s exhibit: Health in Space!
Are your kids ready for some prehistoric time travel? Campers will have the opportunity to experience more than 6000 years of history at the amazing Wanuskewin Heritage Park. A day trip (transportation provided) to the park will include a walking tour and activities related to the traditional learning and cultural heritage of Indigenous Northern Plains cultures.
At the end of the week, your little time-travelling campers will imagine the future by creating their own time capsules, designing new technology, and making their own predictions about what will happen next!
