Summer in downtown Saskatoon has never been better. The Punch Buggy Express in Saskatoon is here! It’s Canada’s first children’s pedal bus! The Punch Buggy Express invites groups with small children to enjoy a scenic riverbank ride to their next amazing destination. There are so many places to visit and you can have a unique ride while visiting them. Leave the car parked, and skip hauling the car seat around. Cycling on the pedal bus helps children burn energy, gain cycling experience and realize their active transportation abilities. Groups will be led by a knowledgeable cycle guide who also facilitates interpretive learning stops along the way.

In June, The Punch Buggy Express will offer one-way shuttles and round-trip tours between Meewasin Skating Rink and River Landing Pavillion bus stop on the weekends. In July, they will add in weekday options and round-trip tours departing from the Wonderhub bus stop to the weir and back, It will be a magical experience along the riverbank, powered by children! It will be a magical experience along the riverbank, powered by children!

I’m planning to stick to the Meewasin to River Landing leg/shuttle for June as I think it will be the most popular and that will help me to keep things simple. So yeah, if you revise to reflect that Wonderhub to Weir tour will be introduced as a new option in July.

The pedal bus accommodates up to eight children and two adults. Children must be accompanied by one adult. Helmets are optional and they have front row seats available for wee and non-cycling child guests.

Online bookings and walk-on registrations are both welcome.
