To celebrate the start of August, we went to the amazing Water Circus Platinum. We were excited to enter the mystical tent celebrating art and wonder. We’ve been doing a lot of outdoor activities lately, but this was the perfect day to spend inside a solid tent and hide from the wind! We felt safe and happy watching this beautiful and exciting circus.
We were not sure where it was located at Sasktel Centre, but it didn’t take us long to spot the big and exciting set up. Getting in was quick and easy as we followed the rest of the happy circus visitors. Before I get too far, I do want to mention they are selling all the glittery merchandise that your children WILL want. We skipped the lights and flash for some cotton candy, and found out they are a cash only vendor. Remember to bring money if you want to buy anything.
Once the show started, we were intrigued and couldn’t look away from the stage. It was a great mix of comedy, talent, performances, and of course all while surrounded by water. All the acts were very aesthetically pleasing, and we loved watching the water, lights, and even the shadows.
We had a lovely afternoon watching all the acts. They had opportunity to have photos taken for a charge, they had some audience participation, and they had Saskatoon cheering for the performers. We can’t wait to see them when they come back to town.
