You are invited to enjoy some family fun, pride celebration, and unique art-making! 2SLGTBQIA+ families and their allies with kids ages 4-10 are welcome to join!

In this art workshop, participants will create mark-making tools from natural materials and follow some fun prompts for mark making by using those tools. This workshop also invites parents to join the process. Therefore, it is not only to explore art with natural materials but also to have a great family time.

This free art form fosters creativity starting at an early age and is suitable for kids as young as 4 years old.

The workshop will be 60 min (10 am – 11 am), with some extra time afterwards for community care that you’re welcome to join (snacks and beverages will be provided).

All materials will be provided for your family. Aprons will be available just for the kids. Please wear clothes that you’re not afraid to get dirty, and/or bring your own aprons as some of the materials might not be washable!

Registration: Booking your ticket through Eventbrite is required prior to attending. Please book 1 ticket for the full family. Due to the limited capacity, the organizers ask that you email them (familyplace@gordonhouse.org) if there will be more than 3 people (2 parents + 1 kid) in your group. This event is free with Gordon House membership: $5/ a year for single parents and $7/a year for more than 1 parent.
