Hastings Park

Hastings Park features is one of Vancouver’s largest urban parks, at 154 acres. It is home to the PNE, Hastings Racecourse and Pacific Coliseum. Hastings Park features a vast Sanctuary of gardens, with a pond, bridges, and winding pathways, the Il Giardino Italiano (Italian Gardens) with unique water features, the opera walk, two large children’s play areas, a spray park and the historical WWII Japanese Momiji Commemorative Garden.

There is also a skatepark, with views of the gardens and mountains, Empire Fields (bowl), with playing fields for soccer and softball, as well as an oval running track, surrounded by steep grassy slopes.
