Review: Hilarious Pete the Cat performance

We had the pleasure of attending the Surrey International Children’s Festival and taking in a performance by Mr. Eric Litwin. Mr. Litwin is the author of the first four Pete the Cat books. We also learned he has started a new series of books called “The Nuts”.

Mr. Eric’s performance was highly enjoyable for both children and adults. His was truly a performance that operates on 2 levels. I think the adults were laughing more than the kids.

The entire 45 minute show was packed with singing, laughing, dancing and stories. Our two boys had a great time. Our five year old was definitely on the upper end of the kids in attendance. However, he enjoyed the show as much as our 3 year old.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Surrey International Children’s Festival. The event combines main stage performers as well as family-friendly activities in the festival arena.

If you have the opportunity to see Mr. Eric perform, take your kids. You won’t be disappointed and your cheeks will most certainly ache as a result of all the laughing!
