Cabinet of Curiosities
The Cabinet of Curiosities is now open! Head to Britannia Mine Museum this Halloween for a ghoulish adventure. Three exciting exhibits will jumpstart your adventure into the unknown and reveal unexpected twists and turns for both adults and children alike. Explore underground with the “Monster Tracker,” examine eerie remnants of deep sea creatures in the “Terror Lab”, and learn about the explosive power of pumpkins.

Canyon Frights
Head to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park for a frightfully good time this Halloween! From October 13-31st, experience spooktacular games, activities, and prizes as you journey through the rainforest. The park will be illuminated as spirits of the past come to play in this family-friendly event that is reminiscent of a Victorian ‘Fall Fair. Visitors are encouraged to wear their best family-friendly costumes as they explore the park.

The Haunted Sea
The Haunted Sea returns to the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site just in time for Halloween. Are you brave enough to find out what is lurking beneath the waves? If so, wander through the colourful and educational art installation pieces, which are created using upcycled materials such as plastic and styrofoam. This event is suitable for all ages, and visitors are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes the weekend before Halloween.

Pumpkins After Dark
Burnaby’s most popular Halloween event, Pumpkins After Dark, is happening again this year. Be ready to be wowed by 6,000+ hand-carved pumpkins arranged in stunning sculptural displays throughout Swangard Stadium and Central Park. Pumpkins After Dark is an outdoor, walk-through experience that utilizes special effects, lighting, music, and sound to bring each installation to life. Visitors will enjoy spotting classic Halloween characters, dragons, dinosaurs, movie and pop culture icons, and more, all proudly carved by Canadian artists.
