OWL offers guided tours for the public to come see many of their Permanent Residents (hours are listed below). You will learn how they came to be at the facility, the jobs they perform at the centre, and about the different species of raptors you can find in British Columbia. The tour is outdoors and occurs rain or shine so don’t forget to dress for the weather!
Guided tours are by donation, are approximately 30-60 minutes long, and leave every hour. The last tour leaves at 2pm.
Due to COVID, the Rehabilitation Centre offers only guided tours which means walk-ins are not accepted. Masks are required during the tours (even outside) in order to keep the tour guides safe and comfortable. Groups of 8 people maximum (including children and infants).
Please Note: As this is a working hospital, you will not see the care centre or the injured or orphaned birds in care.
