The Britannia Mine Museum has decked the halls with Christmas decor. Visitors will have access to all the incredible lower site exhibits at the museum, including Gold Panning, the dynamic exhibit Ore and Orcas in the Terra Lab where you can view specimens from the Howe Sound, including an orca skeleton, and the Land of Thundering Snow avalanche exhibit. Learn about what causes avalanches, how they affect the ecosystem and human settlement, and how to stay safe in avalanche areas. Entry to the Photos with Santa event excludes the underground experience and BOOM!
