This year, with Glenda’s daughter at the helm, they are celebrating 35 years in business and looking forward to welcoming longtime friends and new faces for both shopping and in-store events. At Glenda’s Christmas Cottage, you will find everything from ornaments in every style imaginable, to mantel decor, and specialty Christmas village accessories. Find the perfect gift for your loved ones or start a tradition with your own family to return to this Hallmark-esque location year after year.
Glenda’s Christmas Cottage also hosts holiday events for all ages, with Santa in the Country being one of the most popular events. This family-friendly experience is a must this holiday season. Sit on a haybale and experience a country Christmas surrounded by twinkling lights and the warm scent of cinnamon and spice wafting around you. This event is completely FREE and no advanced registration is required, though a donation to their chosen charity, Matthew’s House, is gratefully accepted. Santa in the Country is the perfect event for all the Christmas aficionados in the house; not only can you get your photo taken with Santa Claus, this year you can get a picture with some fun gnomes in a photobooth! Delicious hot cocoa and fresh popcorn will also be on hand to satiate appetites after a busy afternoon of perusing the fine wares and visiting with Santa.
