Science World Spring Break Camps are positively buzzing with radio waves, sonic booms, and the fascinating science of Light and Sound for students in Kindergarten to Grade 6. Each camp is led by experienced educators who are passionate about making science fun and accessible to all ages through interactive learning. Each week of camp will include awe-inspiring live science shows and demonstrations, and hands-on, age-appropriate workshops exploring the connection between light and sound. Of course, no camp is complete without fun camp games, and students enrolled in Spring Break Camps at Science World will participate in plenty of fun, science-themed games with other campers.
Each age group partakes in experiential learning, exploring sound, light, and communication, with age-appropriate themes and topics such as:
Little Wonders (Kindergarten & Grade 1): Wonderful Whispers investigates the change from quiet to loud and dark to bright through games, colourful experiments, and crafts.
Bright Sparks (Grades 2 & 3): Bright Mighty Light will illuminate all elements of light through musical crafts and shiny activities.
Curious Creators (Grades 4 to 6): Curious Cacaphony is all about sound and light! Listen closely to hear joyful sounds and experience the beauty of light through crafts, games, and experiments.
