When peering down on Vancouver from atop the Vancouver Lookout take time to get your kids involved in the Sky Scout. The program is geared towards kids aged 6 – 12 years. Sky Scouts is designed for children to learn about Vancouver through exciting and interactive activities. The Sky Scout program is offered throughout the year for individuals and group bookings up to 30 children. There is no additional charge to take part in Sky Scout activities.
The adventure begins as you step into the glass elevator – where you will travel to the top and be amazed at our view! Ask one of the Sky Scout Guides about Vancouver’s landmarks and history, or learn about clouds from up above!
There are a few ways kids can become a Sky Scout through the following activities:
1) Cloud viewer: This activity will excite kids as they use the cloud viewer to seek, match and name the clouds that are outside the window! The perfect way to learn about the weather!
2) Scout Out Vancouver Word Search: These fun word search puzzles will be stimulating for children of all ages! We have two fun puzzles with words that highlight Buildings and Transportation in Vancouver!
3) Sky Crossword Puzzles: These puzzles are available in three different difficulty levels and will be sure to engage children with fun facts about Vancouver!
4) Activity booklet: This booklet is filled with tons of engaging activities. It includes: Connect the Dots, Spot the Difference, What’s my Name? Color the Sky Scouts, Scout Out Vancouver Word Search and Cloud Matching. This activity booklet is perfect for a guided tour or self-guided.
