B.C.’s largest and most loved food festivals has returned. This year, The Spot Prawn Festival is 12 years old, so they have added more events, making the festival bigger than ever.
The Chefs’ Table Society & the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts presents cooking classes on Saturday, May 12th. Six one-hour classes will reveal the secrets of how to choose, prepare, and cook spot prawns.
Back by popular demand is food lover’s favourite, the free public festival on Saturday May 12, featuring the Spot Prawn Boil at The False Creek Fisherman’s Wharf. There are limited tickets to the boil and they cost $17.50 plus taxes and fees. Tickets go on sale on April 1.
