One of Vancouver’s most magical summer experiences is sitting under the clear night sky to experience Theatre Under the Stars performances. Now, your young performer has the opportunity to perform on the Malkin Bowl stage and learn the ins and outs of musical theatre with Musical Theatre Summer Camps!

If your child is constantly belting out show tunes, performing choreography in the living room, and turning every space into a stage, then this is the perfect place for them to learn more about musical theatre and what it takes to put on a full-scale production. Over the course of the week, campers will learn musical theatre styles spanning decades. Led by industry professionals Nicol Spinola, Julia MacLean, and Jesse Alvarez, campers will learn a selection of songs and scenes from new and old Broadway hits, culminating in a final performance on the famed Theatre Under the Stars stage for family and friends. Camp registration also includes tickets to one of TUTS’ mainstage performances!

Ages 8 – 12:

July 20 – 27 & August 10 – 14, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM 

Spend your week singing, dancing, and acting out Broadway’s greatest hits! Have fun and improve musical theatre skills through a variety of drama games, movement, dance, and group singing.

Ages 13 – 18:

July 27 – 31, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

It’s time to kick it up a notch at this fun camp for teens! The talented instructors will work with students to enhance their existing skills and develop their vocal performance, acting, and choreography skills to ensure they are stage-ready for the end of the week. Along the way, they will learn about different songs, styles of dance, and elements of musical theatre performance.
