Picture this, an idyllic summer camp filled with everything kids and teens love- adventure, time with friends, water sports, live concerts and even an escape room. You might be wondering “Does a place like this exist? Is this for real?” At Camp Qwanoes, the perfect summer camp does exist. The pure, unfiltered, adventure-filled summer fun offered by Camp Qwanoes is unparalleled! With more than 75 activities for kids including a concrete skate park, live concerts, water sports, zip lines, and a challenge course – it’s no wonder they have been a popular summer camp spot for 58 years! Set right on the water in a secluded spot just 15km north-east of Duncan on Vancouver Island, Camp Qwanoes exposes campers to wakeboarding, ocean kayak frenzies, and mountain boarding.

Every year the Aqua Park is a HUGE attraction for campers. The floating playground, right in the Pacific Ocean, expands every year. Those interested in an adrenaline rush will love the ‘Blob’ – a floating catapult that launches campers into the air before landing with a splash into the water. A giant Aqua-slide, water log and water trampoline are just some of the incredible features for water-loving kids to enjoy on those hot summer days.Camp QwanoesWhen at Qwanoes Beach – if they aren’t spending all their time at the Aqua Park – campers can try waterskiing, kneeboarding, canoeing, tubing, wakeboarding, and ‘The Rocket’. Campers will also get a chance to give the Challenge Course a try. The activities don’t lack thrilling names: The Screamer, The Breathtaker, Painter’s Planks, and The Sky Station. Can’t you hear the kids howling with laughter even now? Plenty more activities await following the Challenge Course, including guitar lessons, archery, volleyball, basketball, drama, and even an outdoor skate park!

The Christian camp brings together staff from around the world. They employ approximately 200 staff each week, meaning there is a 2-1 camper-to-staff ratio. Now how’s that for safety? The folks who run Camp Qwanoes put kids first and do everything possible to ensure they have a safe, memorable, and ridiculously fun experience during their week-long camp. Plus, back by popular demand for 2024 is Sea Quest- their kayak adventure camps, which give campers the experience of being out on the water all day exploring the beautiful and rugged shoreline of the Pacific Ocean in the heart of the Gulf Islands.
