If you’re a parent of a child with delays or disabilities, you know that the right support makes all the difference. Providence Child Society provides specialized support in a positive learning environment to help your child reach their full potential. With two ECS programs funded by Alberta Education, the inclusive classrooms combine early learning with specialized therapy supports, helping children when early intervention matters most. Providence partners with families, so each child receives the right support at the right time — creating a strong foundation for learning, confidence, and independence.

You’ll find school-based programs at one of the seven Providence School locations across Calgary and community-based programs for children attending eligible community child care centres. There are no additional program fees beyond a $50 registration fee. Plus, free transportation is offered where available, and there are free daily snacks.

Wondering if this is the best road for your family? These programs are designed for young children who may not yet be meeting typical developmental milestones. To qualify, children must be eligible for Program Unit Funding (PUF) through Alberta Education.

Registration is now open for the 2026–2027 school year. Contact Providence Child Development Society today to find out more and register for the upcoming open house here. And get ready for your child to shine.
