Christmas in Kensington is back! Join the light-up and kick-off to Christmas in Kensington on November 20, 2025, with a free family-friendly celebration and tree lighting ceremony, featuring Santa and the “Green Mean Friend,” live duelling pianos, and hot chocolate.

Then enjoy free holiday cheer on weekends. On Saturdays, snap a photo with Santa, warm up with coffee and hot chocolate, enjoy live music, and write a letter to Santa. On Sundays, meet the “Green Mean Friend,” cuddle up with animals at the petting zoo, capture a memory in a holiday photo station, and warm up with free hot chocolate and coffee.

Also on November 22, 2025, it’s time for The Polar Express. Head to the Plaza Theatre for a showing of this popular movie. Tickets are $5, and all proceeds will be donated to the Veterans Food Bank.
