Airdrie Festival of Lights: Family-Friendly New Year’s Eve Party
December 31, 2025, is the last night to enjoy the beautiful holiday light displays in Nose Creek Park. There are fireworks at 6:30 PM in Ed Eggerer Athletic Field, and then you can head to Nose Creek Park afterwards for the Family Skate Party that runs from 6 – 9 PM.

City of Calgary New Year’s Eve Party
The City of Calgary is hosting a New Year’s Eve party at Prince’s Island Park and Eau Claire Plaza this year. You can enjoy skating, food trucks, entertainment, and more, plus there will be fireworks just after midnight.

Calgary Library Family-Friendly Celebrations
Celebrate New Year’s Eve with the Calgary Public Library for a free, family-friendly afternoon celebration at Central, Country Hills, Fish Creek, Saddletowne, Seton, and Village Square libraries. Enjoy a dance party, special storytime, mock countdown, and more.

Canmore New Year’s Eve Party
Join the Town of Canmore for free activities at the Canmore Recreation Centre to say goodbye to 2025. You’ll find free public skating, live musical performances, a DJ dance party, and a NEW light tunnel.

Luminous Voices is thrilled to return to the Bella Concert Hall stage for their annual New Year’s Eve tradition. Weaving together unaccompanied choral gems spanning the centuries, you will hear the voices echo through the hall, allowing space and time for reflection, celebration and renewal.

Norquay Torchlight Parade
Add a little light show magic to your New Year’s traditions with Norquay’s Torchlight Parade! On December 31, 2025, at 7 PM, a select number of Norquay skiers will take on the North American run from the Big Chair with torches in hand for a wonderful light spectacle to say goodbye to 2025. The best spot to view this annual spectacle is right from downtown Banff, so bundle up the family, grab a hot chocolate, and enjoy the show!

Okotoks New Year’s Eve Fun
During the day, the Okotoks Recreation Centre will host FREE family activities. From skating to swimming and gym fun, there’s something for every family! Then, you can head to Lineham Park at 7 PM for fireworks.

TELUS Spark Noon Year’s Eve
Ring in the New Year at TELUS Spark on December 31, 2025. Join the countdown to NOON Year’s Eve that will let you celebrate and still get to bed early! Balloons drop at noon, and then you can join the dance party.
