Preschool can start as young as age 3, with classes twice a week. This early learning experience gives children the opportunity to develop a positive attitude towards education, as they associate school with a warm and nurturing environment and exciting opportunities. Children will grow in every way as they refine their fine and gross motor skills, develop their social skills, and expand their vocabulary by way of planned and informal learning experiences. If your child is approaching Kindergarten, Edelweiss Preparatory School also offers Junior Kindergarten for 4-year-olds and Kindergarten for 5-year-olds. Junior Kindergarteners have a choice between 2 or 3 days a week and Kindergarteners will attend school 5 days a week. Your children will thrive at this school, with its well-rounded curriculum and emphasis on STEAM programming. Spanish as a second language is taught, as well.
