Marvel at the 200,000 twinkling lights and the 40-foot Christmas tree at the Alberta Legislature! If you plan it right, you can also catch a Celebrate the Season live musical performance inside the Legislature Rotunda on your visit.
DRIVE-THRU Canadian Tire Magic of Lights
When: November 20, 2025 – January 3, 2026
Location: RAD Torque Raceway | Highway 19, Nisku
Take a “Slow Ride On a Fast Track” with this magical route along the racetrack. The 2.7-kilometre route is fully decorated with the latest LED technology, moving animations, and dazzling lights that will have the whole car exclaiming. Delight in themed holiday scenes that can run several hundred feet long and stand as high as 32 feet tall!

OUTDOOR/INDOOR All is Bright Festival

Location: 124th Street between 107th Avenue and 109th Avenue, Edmonton
The 124 Street business community has something new up their sleeves this holiday season to extend the magic of the annual All is Bright Festival! Illuminated art installations will transform the windows along 124 Street with dancing light projections, immersive artwork, and illuminating innovation.
OUTDOOR Greenland Garden Centre Lights in the Park
When: November 7 – December 30, 2025
Location: 23108 Highway 16, Sherwood Park
The botanical garden at Greenland Garden Centre will once again transform into a magical Christmas display from the movie Elf – complete with narwhals and polar bears! Come explore the pathways and shimmering lights during Lights in the Park – admission this year will be $5 per couple or $10 per family in support of the Strathcona Christmas Bureau and The Salvation Army. Well-behaved dogs on leash are also welcome, and a food truck will be available on-site.

Alberta’s newest indoor light display promises an unforgettable, magical adventure for all ages that might just become your family’s newest holiday tradition. Just an hour outside of Edmonton, in Vegreville, this Christmas Wonderland features dazzling interactive light displays in 20 custom-designed themed rooms.
OUTDOOR Millet’s Festival of Lights
Date: December 6 – 14, 2025
Location: Millet Lions Campground, located North of Millet Recreation Centre, 45 Avenue & 54 Street
The very first Festival of Lights will brings nine days of festive cheer to the Millet Lions Campground, including dazzling lights, balloon art, bonfires, and a magical Candyland. Families can celebrate the magic of Christmas with holiday treats, cozy shopping, and visits from Santa, Frosty, the Grinch, and other beloved characters throughout the event!
OUTDOOR Candy Cane Lane
Date: December 12, 2025, – January 2, 2026
Location: 148 Street between 99 Avenue and 92 Avenue, Edmonton
Take a festive stroll or drive down Edmonton’s iconic Candy Cane Lane… and don’t forget your food bank donation. Tickets for Festive Hayrides will go on sale November 8, 2025, at 12:00 pm and typically sell out fast!
Candy Cane Lane is also excited to offer three walking-exclusive nights where vehicle traffic will not be allowed down the lane. Park the car and visit on December 13 and 23 to enjoy a stress-free stroll down the lane.
OUTDOOR Lights for Larry
Date: November 28, 2025 to January 4, 2026
Location: 4220 124 Avenue NW, Edmonton
Lights for Larry is an impressive display featuring more than 135,000 lights, both inside and out, in honour of the homeowner’s family member who was diagnosed with ALS. There’s a train, a light tunnel, a moose, some reindeer, happy penguins, and much more! In 2022, they were chosen as the ‘Best Lit House’ in Alberta in the Direct Energy Light Up for the Holidays contest.
Visitors are invited to bring non-perishable food or monetary donations for the Veterans Association Food Bank. There will also be a raffle for some fantastic prizes and free hot chocolate!
OUTDOOR Summerside Grande Boulevard
Location: Summerside Grande Boulevard SW, between 88th Street and 70th Street, Edmonton
There are plenty of lights, decorations and fun inflatables to see all the way up and down this street in the Summerside neighbourhood.
OUTDOOR Maisie’s Magical Christmas House

What started as a few strings of lights in 2004 has grown into a stunning tribute display to the creator’s mother, Maisie. You can see this house from blocks away with its huge trees decked out in lights, and the entire yard filled with beautiful Christmas displays! Donations are being accepted for the Second Chance Animal Rescue Society (SCARS) this year. PLUS, check this post for the nights Mister Grinch will be there for photos!
OUTDOOR Stony Plain Lane – Home of the Famous Griswold House

If you love National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, check out this house in Stony Plain decorated to pay homage to the Griswold family, complete with Uncle Eddie’s RV! The whole neighbourhood does a great job of lighting up their homes for the holiday season, earning the title of “Stony Plain Lane”. Donations for the Food Bank are also being collected on-site.

The residents of Elliot Place in St.Albert are bringing the holiday spirit to their yards in their own version of “Candy Cane Lane”. Come walk through the lit arches and see how the neighbours in this crescent have tried to one-up each other’s holiday displays this season!

Each year, Glow Edmonton presents a new and exciting holiday theme!
This year’s Enchanted Forest is a magical place where nature sparkles with wonder. Don’t forget your enchanted field guide, because you’ll discover special surprises along the way, from curious flora to fantastical fauna.
There is so much to enjoy at Glow Edmonton. Kids will love the interactive Kids’ Fun Zone and having an indoor snowball fight. The festival favourite, Glen the Glow-comotive, will also return, offering trackless train rides to kids and kids at heart. Meet the Glow Princesses or dance the night away at the Rockin’ Reindeer Dance Party. Check out the schedule so you don’t miss anything!
