This summer, your child doesn’t have to run away to join the circus. Their circus dreams can come true right here in Edmonton with Cirquetastic Summer Camps. Your child can leave the spectating to someone else as they develop the skills to be the star in the centre ring!

Cirquetastic Summer Camps run from July 13, 2026, to August 19, 2026, and are open to ages 8 and up, with no previous experience required. All camps will take place in Cirquetastic’s well-equipped 3650 square foot circus space in East Edmonton. Participants can look forward to a variety of activities, including ground, aerial and acrobatic activities, as well as games. A showcase for parents at the end of the camp week will even give aspiring acrobats the opportunity to show off their new skills!

Is your child timid or afraid to try new things? Perhaps circus camp could be the perfect solution to pull them out of their shell and help them overcome their fears! Cirquetastic owner and lead instructor Lyne Gosselin is a veteran of the circus with over 20 years of experience, and she’s passionate about helping kids conquer their fears and explore their creativity. She’s both taught at and performed with l’École de cirque du Québec. Locally, you may be familiar with her from her involvement with Firefly Theatre or from her performances at festivals, including the International Children’s Festival of the Arts.

This year, Cirquetastic offers an exciting camp theme with their Avatar: The Last Airbender themed summer camps! Campers will discover the art of movement through engaging activities like juggling, aerials, and acrobatics, inspired by the four elements: Air, Water, Earth and Fire. Every day offers new challenges as participants train like real elemental masters, while building their strength, confidence, and creativity.
