This summer your child doesn’t have to run away to join the circus. Their circus dreams can come true right here in Edmonton with Cirquetastic Summer Camps. Your child can leave the spectating to someone else as they develop the skills to be the star in the centre ring!
Cirquetastic Summer Camps run weekly July 8, 2024 – August 23, 2024 and are open to ages 8 and up with no previous experience necessary. All camps will take place in Cirquetastic’s well equipped 3650 square foot circus space in east Edmonton.
Half Day and Afternoon Camps will be a mix of aerials, juggling and acrobatics, and include a half hour demo for parents at the end of the camp week.
Full Day Camps offer a variety of activities including ground, aerials and acrobatics, magic, games, and crafts. This year’s theme is Circus Meets Fashion and features special guests to enhance the experience! Campers will work with fashion expert Vaeda Ramler to create their own fashion from newspaper, then showcase it during a cool opening Fashion theme group extravaganza you won’t want to miss. On Wednesday, campers will also be wowed by the magic of Nate the Great and have the chance to learn a trick or two to share at home.

- Half Day Camps run from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and cost $250 + GST each.

Is your child timid or afraid to try new things? Perhaps circus camp could be the perfect solution to pull them out of their shell and help them overcome their fears! Cirquetastic owner and lead instructor Lyne Gosselin is a veteran of the circus with over 20 years of experience and she’s passionate about helping kids conquer their fears and explore their creativity. She’s both taught at and performed with l’École de cirque du Québec. Locally, you may be familiar with her from her involvement with Firefly Theatre or from her performances at festivals including the International Children’s Festival of the Arts.
Summer 2024 could be the start of your child’s journey to the big top. Your child will have a blast staying active, trying out new skills, and making new friends. Reserve their summer camp spot at Cirquetastic and who knows, maybe one day they’ll be the headlining star of a Cirque du Soleil show!
