The City of St. Albert invites children to choose their own adventure during Winter Break Camps at Servus Credit Union Place! Register now for an exciting week playing games, meeting new friends, and trying out new activities during the upcoming school holidays. It is the best way to keep active, have fun, and sleigh the holiday season!

Winter Break Camps run the week of December 27 to 30, 2022 (4 day session) and January 2 to 6, 2023 (5 day session). Each themed program has been specially-designed and will be led by an enthusiastic team of staff ready to welcome campers with a variety of fun and engaging activities. Featuring a wide range of themes from sports and swimming to art and cooking, there’s bound to be something fun and interesting for your 3 to 12 year old.

The holiday break is also the perfect time to lace up and learn to skate! In addition to the Winter Break Camps, The City of St. Albert is excited to offer Learn to Skate Express Programs for ages 3 to 6. These 9 day sessions are the perfect introduction to the ice without the full commitment of a 10 week program. You’ll be amazed at how quickly your young skater will progress in just half an hour a day!

Holiday Active Half-Day Camps

Ages 3 to 5 | December 27 – 30, 2023 (9 am – 12 pm)
Ages 3 to 5 |January 2 – January 6, 2023 (1 pm – 4 pm)

Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with a half day of fun that includes holly jolly games in the gym, joyful jumping in the bouncy castles, crafting time in the workshop, and tasty fun whipping up festive frosty treats!

Winter Break Half-Day Camps

Ages 3 to 5 |January 2 – January 6, 2023 (9 am – 12 pm)
Ages 3 to 5 |January 2 – January 6, 2023 (1 pm – 4 pm)

Your child can start off the new year with some fun new camp memories including playing with friends in the PLAYcare space, jumping in bouncy castles, getting messy making crafts, and playing outside in the snow!

Christmas Storybook Cooks

Ages 6 to 9 | December 27 – December 30, 2023 (9 am – 4 pm)

Make themed holiday recipes straight out of your favorite holiday books and movies. The menu includes fun treats like Who Hash, Buddy the Elf Spaghetti, Polar Express Hot Chocolate and Charlie Brown Tree Cookies! When not in the kitchen, campers can look forward to games, swimming and jumping in the bouncy castles.

Christmas Sweet Treats

Ages 9 to 12 | December 27 – December 30, 2023 (9 am – 4 pm)

Young bakers can indulge their sweet tooth as they learn to make Christmas cakes, cookies, pastries, and desserts. Each day will include 2.5 hours in the kitchen, combined with games, swimming, archery and jumping fun in the bouncy castles!

Holiday Active

Ages 6 to 9 | December 27 – December 30, 2023 (9 am – 4 pm)

Enjoy four full days of festive fun playing games in the gym, practicing archery, splashing in the pool, making holiday crafts, jumping in the bouncy castles, and baking holiday treats!

Winter Break Kids Takeover Camp

Ages 6 to 9 | January 2 – January 6, 2023 (9 am – 4 pm)
Ages 9 to 12 | January 2 – January 6, 2023 (9 am – 4 pm)

Charge into the new year with fast energy games like Archery Dodgeball, Camouflage, and the Floor is Lava, plus a variety of recreational activities including skating, swimming, and snow fort building. To round it all out, crafts, experiments and trivia will fill this mishmash of Winter Break fun!

Winter Break Rooks to Cooks

Ages 6 to 9 | January 2 – January 6, 2023 (9 am – 4 pm)
Ages 9 to 12 | January 2 – January 6, 2023 (9 am – 4 pm)

Grab those aprons and spend the week whisking up new skills! These camps with let your young chef-in-training cook, bake, and taste a variety of exciting new recipes, with a take-home cookbook to recreate them in your own kitchen. Camp days will also include fun outside the kitchen with activities like swimming, archery dodgeball, tag, crafts, and science experiments.
