Get ready for a close encounter of the prehistoric kind when Dinosaurs – The Exhibition opens Saturday, March 23, 2024 at TELUS World of Science – Edmonton. This is your chance to get up close and personal with over 10,000 square feet of life-size animatronic dinosaurs, fossils, interactive dig sites, and more. Best of all, it is all included as part of every Science Centre General Admission ticket!

Come discover some of the most extraordinary creatures to ever walk the Earth in this spectacular showcase of life-sized moving and roaring creatures from the Mesozoic Era. Fans of all ages can delight in animatronic favourites like the plant-eating Triceratops, the lizard tyrant Tyrannosaurus rex, and even some newly discovered dinosaur species!

See how you size up next to actual skeleton casts, and imagine what it would be like to come face-to-face with an actual dinosaur from over 66 million years ago! There is a ton to explore in this 10,000-square-foot display of dinosaurs from around the world, including an impressive massive 65-foot actual size Diplodocus skeleton replica.

Dinosaurs – The Exhibition offers the chance to get hands-on and learn more about the world of paleontology through a realistic excavation using real tools. Use brushes, awls, and picks to help unearth the past and embark on your own paleontological journey. For the young dino lovers, there is also a Tots Explorer Tent filled with fun activities to fuel their fascination. They will love uncovering fossil skeletons in the two dig sites, listening to dino stories, assembling prehistoric puzzles, analyzing fossil evidence, and more!
