Noah’s Ark Preschool is a nondenominational Christian program that offers a comprehensive early learning experience for children aged 3 to 5. It’s a program that’s designed to foster intellectual, social, emotional, physical and spiritual growth, but the main goal is to encourage natural curiosity and promote a love of learning in each child!
Noah’s Ark is a well-rounded preschool program taught by highly qualified early childhood educators. Every activity, from games and crafts to songs and stories, is designed to support the theme of the week. Child-lead learning is encouraged during center time, when students are free to move from one center to another, and centers are designed to reinforce early literacy, numeracy and science concepts. Circle time includes calendar and weather discussions. Snack time, gross motor play, and story time round out the day. Regular field trips and a monthly cooking day are all part of the curriculum.
The Noah’s Ark Preschool program builds children’s confidence in their learning abilities, through well supported opportunities for creative expression, experimentation, problem solving, and emotional growth. Social skills including manners, cooperation, respect and responsibility are stressed, and are key messages that run throughout the program.
Noah’s ark features a large, well-equipped classroom, a large open space for gym activities, and ample parking for parents. Classes run from mid-September to the end of May, and class sizes are limited to 18 students each. Children aged 3 to 5 can attend Tuesday and Thursday morning classes from 9:15 am to 11:15 am, while children aged 4 to 5 can opt for Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning classes from 9:15 am to 11:30 am. Registration is now open for the 2019/2020 school year.
