Big news! The Ice Castles are coming back! Fans of the beautiful, frosty creations will be thrilled to know they are returning to Hawrelak Park for the 2019 season. Opening day is January 4, 2019 – and tickets are on sale now!

You’ll want to have your camera ready for the gorgeous sparkling wall that flashes are rainbows, roaring fires, Northern Lights and the night sky! Sit on a frozen throne of ice and slide down a twisty slide on a crazy carpet. If you can, try to time your visit for around sunset. The icy blue really is gorgeous in the sunlight, but the lighting design is best viewed under cover of night. If you are only visiting once, I highly recommend going at a time you can witness both!

Special guests will be making regular visits to the Castles. Ice Princesses “The Snow Sisters” will be there Saturdays and Sundays from 12 pm to 3 pm to greet fans and pose for pictures. Fire performers “Insphyre Performance” will be showcasing their talents on Fridays and Saturdays from 7 pm to 10 pm.
