Two experienced and dedicated teachers, small class sizes, a warm and caring environment, and a learning model that nurtures your youngster’s natural curiosity – these and more are reasons why families keep choosing Little Aspen Playschool.
Little Aspen is a parent-run, non-profit playschool that has served the Aspen Gardens neighbourhood in Southwest Edmonton since 1986. It offers the perfect play-based learning environment for three and four-year-olds, with a familiar routine, including daily outdoor activities, and class sizes that are kept to a maximum of 15. Students will enjoy songs, stories, crafts, and other interactive activities, as well as plenty of free play to explore their own creativity and imagination. The classroom theme changes every two weeks to offer plenty of variety for your little one.
Parent involvement is always welcomed, but in-class duty days are not required at Little Aspen Playschool, and there is no obligatory fundraising. Little Aspen offers 3-hour classes, longer than most other playschool programs, as well as other benefits including a highly-trained teacher and teacher’s assistant, and a parent-lead Board of Directors.
Morning playschool is offered from 8:45 am to 11:45 am, while afternoon playschool runs from 12:45 pm to 3:45 pm. 3-year-old students may attend a single session on Friday mornings, or two days per week on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. 4-year-old students have 3 options: Monday/Wednesday mornings, Tuesday/Thursday afternoons, or Monday/Wednesday/Friday afternoons.
