Lansdowne Community League Pumpkin Walk

Bring your pumpkin to display at the 2nd annual Pumpkin Walk at the Lansdowne Community League. There will be prizes for the most creative pumpkins, free hot chocolate (bring your own mug), and warming fires. Pumpkins will be taken to the University Farms for compost.

When: November 1, 2023

Soraya Hafez Community Playground Pumpkin Walk

Soraya Hafez Community Playground will line the paths with pumpkins during the 3rd annual Pumpkin Walk! Bring your own mug for free hot chocolate and empty bottle and can donations for the new playground. Pumpkins will be donated to a farm for the animals.

Highlands Pumpkin Walk 2023

Highlands Golf Club is happy to accept your jack-o-lanterns for their 3rd annual Pumpkin Walk! Come admire all the lit up pumpkins along the path, then leave your pumpkin to be donated to feed farm rescue animals.

Pumpkin Smash 2023

Bring your jack-o-lantern to the Pumpkin Smash at Compost School to smash it in a fun way and learn more about how it can be turned into compost.

Strathcona County Pumpkin Drop

The Strathcona County Pumpkin Drop for Muscular Dystrophy is your chance to drop a pumpkin from the 4th floor of the fire station’s hose tower! For a donation you can come watch your jack-o-lantern smash to the ground, plus enjoy fun activities and refreshments with the Emergency Services team, including Sparky the firedog mascot.
