That mid-semester break should really be called “towards the end of winter” break in the Capital Region. And while a little break for the kids is a welcome thing, keeping them occupied can be tough. Luckily there are some excellent programs in and around Edmonton that solve that problem! Here are our favourite Spring Break Camps and Programs!

Featured Program: A&D Tutoring

A&D tutoring offers a Spring Break Camp that is STEM-focused! Kids aged 7 to 12 who love toys and activities geared toward building, construction, engineering, and technology will find a week of fun in this week long day camp! Minecraft, LEGO Robotics and the amazing A&D Makerspace will each be the focus of one full day of the camp, and the other two days will be rounded out with exciting, hands-on activities, team tasks, unique artistics pursuits, and a LOT of thinking outside the box. Camp Warwa offers the quintessential camp experience – games, activities, friendship, fun and memories to last a lifetime! Let your kids get a jump on the fun of summer camp by spending the week of Spring Break at Camp Warwa! Kids will enjoy five days of rock climbing, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, and even ice fishing – plus all the usual camp favourites like crafts, wide games and songs. “Water” your plans for Spring Break? How about some pool fun? MacEwan Sport and Wellness is offering co-ed youth camps centered around the pool. Perfect for your “water baby” (well, really, your 5 to 16 year old!) these camps are designed for swimmers of various skill-levels and experience to ensure that basic aquatic skills are taught in a fun and positive environment. What do 6 to 12 year olds love more than spending a day at the YMCA? Spending a whole week there, of course! The Y’s Spring Break Camps offer a week full of active fun, with access to gymnasiums and event the pool! Kids will also get to enjoy educational games, crafty projects, teamwork tasks and more! YMCA Day Camps run from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm with up to one hour of FREE pre and post camp care! For more information, click here!
