There are many great reasons to visit RAM during Spring Break including special daily programming and extended hours. The Royal Alberta Museum is normally closed each Monday & Tuesday, but will be open both days during the week of March 22-30, 2025. TIP: Admission is FREE for kids 6 and under.

Spring Break Programming:

  • Youth Art Month | All Month
    Get creative and explore what colour means to you!
  • Storytime | 10:30 AM
    Gather round for a winter time tale.
  • Dino Dentist | 11:00 AM
    Discover dinosaur fossils and learn about the science of chewing on the historic grinding stone.
  • Live Animal Encounter | 1:00 PM
    Meet the museum critters up close and personal, from bugs to snakes!
  • Plant a Garden Tomato | 2:00 PM
    All supplies will be provided to plant your own tomato plant to bring home and watch it grow.
  • Sound Stage Shenanigans | 2:30 PM
    Learn about the history of radio plays and silent films, then create a symphony of sound with everyday household items.
